Easy 3 Ingredient Gravy

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Whisk in the flour and black pepper to taste, until no lumps remain.

Slowly add the chicken broth or drippings to the pan, whisking continuously. Cook and whisk  constantly.

Remove the pan from heat and season with salt to taste. Serve in a gravy boat if desired.
