Brioche French Toast Casserole

Butter an 8x8 baking dish. On a cutting board, cut the brioche bread slices into 1-inch cubes and place into the casserole dish.

In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs.

In a medium bowl, whisk together cinnamon and sugar. Whisk in heavy cream, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.

Pour the egg mixture over the bread in the casserole dish. Stir gently to soak all the bread. Mix the topping ingredients and sprinkle it over the casserole. Bake in the center of the oven.

Allow the casserole to cool for 5 minutes. Add your favorite toppings, if desired, and serve.
