Easy Turkey Burgers

Dice the onion into very fine pieces and pat very dry with paper towel.

Add the ground turkey, finely diced onion, garlic, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to a medium bowl. Using your hands or a fork, mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Divide the burger mixture into 4 equal portions. Lightly coat your hands in oil (or mist with nonstick cooking spray) and form each portion into a 1/2-inch-thick patty. The mixture will be wet so they won’t look perfect. Set them on the prepared baking sheet.

Place in the freezer to chill for 15 minutes. Transfer to the hot skillet and cook for 5 - 6 minutes.

Flip them over and cook for another 5 - 6 minutes. The internal temp for turkey burgers should be 160 degrees F.

Allow the burgers to rest for a few minutes before serving then add buns and your favorite toppings, if desired.
