Veggie and Meat Spaghetti (with Vegan option)

In a Dutch oven pot over medium heat, cook the oil, onions, green peppers, garlic, and ground beef until the meat is browned.

Stir in the tomatoes, marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, sugar, and balsamic vinegar and simmer. At the same time, cook the spaghetti noodles according to the package directions.

Remove the sauce from the heat and add additional salt and pepper if desired. Serve the sauce over the pasta or mix them together. Top with Parmesan cheese if desired.
