These 4 Ingredient Oven-baked Pork Chops are the best baked juicy pork chops! Simple herbs and butter give the pork chops so much flavor. These thick chops are tender and juicy with just 4 ingredients plus salt and pepper, 7 steps, and just 25 minutes for quick busy weeknights.
Spray a 9x13 baking dish (or rimmed sheet pan) with non-stick cooking spray.
Pat dry pork chops with a paper towel.
Season both sides of the chops with the onion powder, and dried thyme, plus salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the pork to the prepared dish and top each with a 1/2 tablespoon pat of butter.
Bake pork chops in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes for 1-inch thick bone-in pork chops. The pork chops are done when the internal temperature of the pork chops measures 145° F on an instant-read thermometer. (Thinner pork chops and boneless pork will cook faster.) Be careful not to overcook the pork chops or they may dry out.
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes and then serve.
Notes
If the pork chops are thinner than 1 inch, start checking on them after 10 minutes in the oven.
Store leftover pork chops in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days in the fridge.
