Chicken Nugget Pizza Recipe

This Chicken Nugget Pizza is loaded with BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, chicken nuggets (or popcorn chicken), sliced red onions and cilantro on store bought pizza crust. It’s super easy to make and is ready in just 25 minutes.

store bought 12” round unbaked pizza dough
1 ½
cups
of your favorite BBQ sauce
(Honey BBQ works great)

shredded mild cheddar cheese

of a small red onion

teaspoon
fresh chopped cilantro

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450F.
On a cutting board, slice the red onion very thin and about 1 - 2 inches long.
Heat the oil in a skillet on medium high heat, then fry the chicken nuggets for 2 - 4 minutes turning over halfway.
Cut the chicken nuggets into bite-sized pieces, then toss in a bowl with half of the BBQ sauce, coating well.
Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle and place into a pizza pan sprayed with non-stick spray.
Spread the remaining BBQ sauce on it to about 1/2 inch from the edge.
Sprinkle on the cheddar cheese and add slices of red onion.
Spread the chicken nugget pieces evenly over the pizza.
Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.
Sprinkle the pizza with cilantro, use a
pizza cutter
to cut into slices and serve.
Notes
Popcorn chicken or diced cooked chicken can be used instead of chicken nuggets
Homemade pizza dough can be used instead of store bought
