How to make Fried Sweet Potatoes
Step 1 – Melt butter in a large hot frying pan over medium-high heat.
Step 2 – Drain and cut the sweet potatoes into cubes. Add the sweet potatoes to the pan and sprinkle with the salt.
Step 3 – Fry the potatoes about 1-2 minutes.
Step 4 – Sprinkle in the brown sugar and cinnamon across the top. Wait 1-2 minutes and then toss the potatoes until the brown sugar has nice caramelization, about 1 more minute.
Step 5 – Remove from pan and serve immediately. Garnish with glazed walnuts if desired.
Pro Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.

- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 29 ounce canned sweet potatoes (or yams)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Optional – glazed walnuts
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large hot frying pan over medium-high heat.
