This Beef and Broccoli with Ramen Noodles is packed full of ramen noodles, thin sliced sirloin steak, fresh chopped broccoli and a delicious brown stir fry sauce. Better than take-out, it is easy and fast, ready in just 30 minutes.
Fill a large saucepan with water and bring to a boil.
Add the ramen noodles and cook 3 minutes, breaking them apart with a wooden spoon as they cook.
Drain and rinse with cold water and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk together the ground ginger, jarred minced garlic, low sodium soy sauce, warm water, packed light brown sugar, corn starch, sesame oil, seasoning packets from the ramen soup, and black pepper until combined.
On a cutting board, chop the broccoli into bite sized pieces.
Slice the sirloin into thin slices.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Add 1 tablespoon olive oil, broccoli and 2 tablespoons water. Cover with a lid and cook 4 minutes, stirring occasionally until crisp tender.
Transfer the broccoli to a separate dish.
Increase the skillet heat to medium high heat and add 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Add the beef slices and cook about 1 minute per side or just until browned, then reduce the heat to medium low.
Pour the sauce into the skillet and simmer 3 - 5 minutes to thicken, stirring occasionally.
Return the broccoli to the pan along with the cooked ramen noodles and toss to combine until coated with the sauce.
Garnish the beef broccoli ramen with sesame seeds and chives and serve.
