Shrimp and Scallops in Garlic Sauce Recipe

These Shrimp and Scallops in Garlic Sauce are tossed in a mixture of butter and garlic first and then coated in Panko bread crumbs and topped with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. This easy dish is ready in about 20 minutes.

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Melt the butter in a pan or in the microwave.
Mix the melted butter, salt, and jarred minced garlic in a bowl and set it aside.
Pat dry the scallops and the shrimp with paper towel. Remove the tough side muscle from the scallops.
Toss the scallops and shrimp in the melted butter mixture.
Then coat each one in the Panko bread crumbs on all sides. (Reserve the butter)
Place coated scallops and shrimp in a 7 x 11 baking dish in a flat layer not touching each other.
Re-heat the butter if needed and carefully pour it in between and around the scallops and shrimp but not on top if possible.
Layer on the Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and bake for 10 minutes, or until done.
Sprinkle on fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
We serve them with a side salad, mashed potatoes, or over rice.
