Ingredients
This recipe only requires a few simple ingredients, all of which are easy to find at your local grocery store. You may already even have these ingredients on hand to help you avoid a trip to the grocery store.
- sea scallops
- large shrimp (I buy peeled, deveined, and tails removed)
- butter
- jarred minced garlic
- salt
- Panko bread crumbs
- mozzarella cheese
- shredded Parmesan cheese (not powdered)

How to make Scallops and Shrimp in Garlic Sauce
Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 – Melt the butter in a pan or in the microwave.

Step 3 – Mix the melted butter, salt, and jarred minced garlic in a bowl and set it aside.
Step 4 – Pat dry the scallops and the shrimp with paper towel. Remove the tough side muscle from the scallops.

Step 5 – Toss the scallops and shrimp in the melted butter mixture.

Step 6 – Then coat each one in the Panko bread crumbs on all sides. (Reserve the butter)

Step 7 – Place coated scallops and shrimp in a 7 x 11 baking dish in a flat layer not touching each other.
Step 8 – Re-heat the butter if needed and carefully pour it in between and around the scallops and shrimp but not on top if possible.
Step 9 – Layer on the Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and bake for 10 minutes, or until done.

Step 10 – (Optional) Sprinkle on fresh parsley if desired.

- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
