This Shrimp Garlic Bread has a cheesy shrimp mixture on top of a crusty Italian loaf, French baguette slices, or ciabatta crusty bread ready in 25 minutes. The amount of shrimp mixture in the recipe is enough to spread on two halves of a 6”x8” Italian loaf. It makes 10-12 slices of shrimp toast, depending on how big each slice is.
8ouncesraw shrimp(I buy peeled, deveined and tails removed)
½cupshredded mozzarella
½cupshredded Parmesan cheese
3Tablespoonsbutter, melted
¼cupmayonnaise
1 ½teaspoonsjarred minced garlic
2Tablespoonschopped fresh chives
¼teaspoonseasoned salt
¼teaspoonblack pepper
1Italian bread loaf(or French baguette or ciabatta loaf)
½teaspoonchopped fresh basil

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F.
On a cutting board, chop the shrimp into ½ inch bite-size pieces and place them into a medium bowl.
Add the mozzarella, Parmesan, melted butter, mayonnaise, jarred minced garlic, chives, seasoned salt, and black pepper.
Slice the loaf or baguette in half horizontally, or cut into 1-inch thick slices (about 10 – 12). Place the halves or slices onto a parchment paper-lined lined baking sheet.
Spread the shrimp and butter mixture on the cut side of the bread.
Place into the oven and bake for 13-15 minutes or until the top is golden, the cheese is melted, and the bread is crispy.
Remove bread from the oven and sprinkle on the fresh basil. If the bread is not already in slices, cut it into desired serving sizes then serve immediately.
Notes
I buy shrimp that is already peeled, deveined, and has the tails removed.
