Substitutions

For this cobbler, canned peaches work the best. But you can use fresh peaches. To use fresh you would need to peel, core, and cut 3 peaches into slices. Then add it to a pan with an additional 1/3 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Follow all my other steps in order, adding these cooked peaches during step 6 in place of the canned peaches.

How to make Peach Cobbler with 7 Ingredients

Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 – Melt the butter and pour it into an 8×8-inch baking dish.

Step 3 – Sprinkle the cinnamon over the butter.

Step 5 – Pour the batter over the melted butter, but do not stir it.

Step 6 – Place the peach slices on top of the batter in an even layer.

Step 7 – Bake for about 1 hour or until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 8 – Allow the peach cobbler to cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
