How to make easy Stroganoff with Ground Beef

Step 1 – In a large saucepan, cook the egg noodles according to the package directions.

Step 2 – On a cutting board, dice the onion and slice the mushrooms.

Step 3 – Brown the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 4 – Drain the grease and return the beef and onions to the skillet.

Step 5 – Add the sliced mushrooms and jarred minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 6 – Stir in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes.

Step 7 – Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, and bring to a boil.

Step 8 – Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 8-10 minutes.

Step 9 – Remove the ground beef mixture from the heat and stir in the sour cream and drained egg noodles.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups egg noodles, uncooked
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 cups low sodium beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  • Optional – Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
