This Orange Juice Slush is so good, so creamy, orangey, and refreshing! It is super simple and super quick to make your own slushies. In just 5 minutes, with 5 ingredients, and 4 steps, you can be in orange creamsicle heaven.
Why I love this recipe
This slushy drink is creamy in color because we aren’t adding any artificial coloring. This easy recipe is similar in flavor to an Orange Julius, Push-up pops, or an Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream Bar.

Simple Ingredients
(amounts are listed in the recipe card at the bottom of the post)
orange juice
heavy cream
white sugar
vanilla extract
ice cubes
Substitutions
Change it up by using frozen strawberries instead of ice cubes.
Or swap out the sugar and cream for healthier choices. But!!! I think it’s a PERFECT delicious treat just the way it is.
You can also use whole milk, or ice cream instead of heavy cream but it will change the slushy consistency a bit.
Equipment needed for this recipe
- blender
- serving glasses - two
How to make Orange Juice Slush
Step 1 - Combine the orange juice, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a blender.
Step 2 - Add the ice cubes.
Pro Tips
I use 2 ½” crescent shaped cubes. If your cubes are smaller or bigger you may need to adjust the number of cubes to get a medium thick slush.
Step 3 - Blend until completely smooth.
Step 4 - Pour the slush mixture into 2 tall glasses. Serve and enjoy.
