Why I love this recipe

This slushy drink is creamy in color because we aren’t adding any artificial coloring. This easy recipe is similar in flavor to an Orange Julius, Push-up pops, or an Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream Bar.

Expert Tips

Change it up by using frozen strawberries instead of ice cubes.

Or swap out the sugar and cream for healthier choices. But!!! I think it’s a PERFECT delicious treat just the way it is.

You can also use whole milk or ice cream as a substitute for heavy cream, but this will slightly alter the slushy consistency.

Notes

Notes about ingredients and substitutions
  • I use 2 ½” crescent-shaped cubes. If your cubes are smaller or bigger, you may need to adjust the number of cubes to get a medium-thick slush.
