This easy 3 Ingredient Gravy is hearty and delicious comfort food. It is so simple and can be made in just one pan with or without drippings. Butter, flour, chicken broth (or pan drippings), plus some salt and pepper are whisked over low heat to make this smooth chicken, turkey, or brown beef gravy.
This smooth creamy gravy is a great addition to make any dinner even more special, ready in just 10 minutes.
There is something so comforting about homemade gravy. We love to pour it over roasted chicken, or roast beef, and mashed potatoes, but it can be used over rice as well.

We used chicken broth in these pictures, but you can easily use beef broth or drippings instead.
A flour-based gravy, like this one, can keep for up to four months in the freezer. Place it in containers, freezer bags, or even ice cube trays.
