How to make homemade queso
Step 1 - Place the white American cheese and the whole milk in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat and stir until the cheese is creamy and melted.
Step 2 - Remove from the heat and stir in the undrained Rotel tomatoes and green chilies, the cumin, onion powder, and the drained corn if using.
Step 3 - Serve warm.

You can also make this in a crock pot. Place everything in a small slow cooker and heat on low for 2 - 4 hours. Stir occasionally until it becomes a smooth cheese dip.
