How to make Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings
Step 1 – On a cutting board, dice the chicken, celery, onion, and carrots.

Step 2 – Add the chicken broth, diced chicken, celery, onions, carrots, cream of chicken soup, ground sage, salt and pepper to a 6 quart crock pot. Stir to combine and cook on low for 7 hours.

Step 3 – In a small bowl mix the cornstarch with ½ cup of hot liquid from the crock pot, until no lumps remain.

Step 4 – Stir the cornstarch slurry into the contents inside the slow cooker.
Step 5 – In a medium bowl mix together the baking mix and milk forming sticky batter. Divide the batter into 8 equal portions and gently drop onto the hot mixture.

Step 6 – Cover and cook on low for 30 minutes.

Step 7 – Uncover and continue to cook on low for another 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

- 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 pound boneless chicken
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 onion
- 2 cups carrots
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 Tablespoons cornstarch
For the Dumplings:
- 1 1/2 cups baking mix (like Jiffy or Bisquick)
- 1/2 cup milk
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
