Slow Cooker Corn on the Cob Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic from a jar
- 2 Tablespoons finely minced fresh parsley
- 4 ears corn on the cob (fresh and husked)
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- Salt (or Lowry’s Season salt and black pepper to taste)
Instructions
- Mix together the melted butter, jarred minced garlic and parsley in small bowl until well combined.
- Place each ear of corn on a large piece of aluminum foil and brush the butter all over the corn.
- Season with granulated sugar, salt (or Lowry’s season salt) and pepper to taste and tightly seal the aluminum foil around the corn.
- Place the foiled corn cobs in a 4 quart crock pot slow cooker.
- Add 1 cup water to the bottom of the slow cooker crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low 4 hours or on High 2 hours, or until done.
Notes
- If you’re not ready to serve it right away, you can just turn it to warm until you need it.
- You can use frozen corn on the cob, but fresh will taste so much better.
- To make this vegan, use vegan butter
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Step 2 – Place each ear of corn on a large piece of foil and brush the butter all over the corn. Step 3 – Season with granulated sugar, salt (or Lowry’s season salt) and pepper to taste and tightly seal foil around the corn.
